In other news, because of all the education cuts..even though I have a teaching contract I was not placed anywhere for this upcoming year and have to go back to supply teaching. Majorly sucks. I figured with my masters I'd for sure land a resource job, but great, they cut funding for resource positions! I know there are some long term positions in resource available, but at the same time I am also thinking of moving elsewhere for the year. I have friends up in Ottawa so that is the top of my list right now. I just don't want to do something I am always going to regret, and I have a feeling if I don't try something new and go elsewhere I will always regret it.
Don't get me wrong I love Saint John and New Brunswick, so I will definately move back here. It's just that I'm not married, have no commitments, so why not go? Right now it is because I don't have a job up there, and I will probably go from making 140 a day (which is the supply wage in NB) to a much lower paying random job in Ontario, probably not in the education area. But it's an experience right? Decisions Decisions. Ottawa's supply teacher list isn't open right now either - too many people on it apparently. So supply teaching up there is kinda out. blahh.
Well gotta go search for jobs online!!
